I upgraded from Window ME to XP pro a year ago.
My pc is correpted with trojan horse virus, I'm not
able to get rid off. I did everything possible, but my pc
is still slow to load or move btween files.
My question is: Can I format the pc and reinstal the
upgrade copy of window XP pro that I purchased a year ago,
or I need the XP copy.

Thanks for any advise I can get.

You can perform a clean install of XP with the upgrade disk. During the
install you'll be asked for proof of a prior version. Insert your ME CD as
proof, and then the XP installation will continue.
