regular contacts delivered to DELETED ITEMS in Windows Mail/Vista

Good thing I check Deleted Items in Vista Windows Mail, since that's where
several of my Incoming e-mails are landing. I've attempted forwarding these
important letters to myself, and they land right back in DELETED ITEMS!
I tried right-click, add to my contacts; "error has occurred; cannot add
sender to contacts". Of course, because both the name AND e-mail identity are
listed there. Yet Windows Mail forgets to look! Oh for Outlook Express
availability again! Any advice out there?
I'm still on dial-up modem, Internet Explorer 7, AVG Grisoft Anti-Malware 8,
ISP: netzero.net

I'm not aware of anything in Windows Mail that would put an
incoming message into the Deleted Items folder.
Check your message rules.
I know nothing about your anti-malware program, but perhaps it has
an email scanning feature; that should be disabled.

Thank you! Yes, there was one word used in a totally different context, that
was in Blocked Message
