can you tell me why when i start my pc a blue screen comes up and it goes
througha series of checks such as looking for valid systm reg keys, checking
systm registry rebuilding systm registry
 
I believe that is referred to as, the "Blue Screen of Death".

Typically a sign that it's time to reinstall windows.
