Registry value keeps resetting

The date and time was Thursday, January 08, 2009 10:21:07 AM, and on a
whim, Terry R. pounded out on the keyboard:

I have a utility, MBtn2dblclickVC. There is a registry value to enable
the double click. On every boot, the value is changed to zero. I tried
removing all groups and user names except mine, but on each boot they
return. I've copied and removed permissions to no avail. I've even
denied permissions and it's still reset.

Does anyone have a suggestion to keep this value set at 1?

I wound up exporting the key with the value set at 1. I created a batch
file to run at startup that imports the reg file and launches the EXE,
so it's Enabled at boot.

I created a workaround fix and posted it, but was unable to resolve it
any other way. Do you see the post?
