Registry Value for Physical Memory

I'm just wondering if there's a value in the registry for the amount of

installed physical memory? Or there's another way to change the amount
of displayed system memory? Thanks.

You can specify the amount of memory used by Windows in the BOOT.INI
file by specifying the /MAXMEM= parameter. You can use the MSCONFIG program
to add this setting to BOOT.INI.

Although I don't have an answer to your question I am curious
as to why you would want to. Doesn't it display the right amount?
