Registry Problems

I have a small registy problem!

I have a corupt key in
/HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Yahoo/

If I try and view below this value it causes my computer
to reboot, if any program scans below this value I reboot.
If I delete it I reboot.

I've tried everything I can think of to remove this key I
can't even reinstall/uninstall/run Yahoo Messenger as it
causes a reboot.

I just want rid of this key so i can run my computer
without wondering if my spyware scan is gonna kill it.

Any help would be good

Have you tried using System Restore to go back a ways and then trying to
remove YM or view the key?

Unfortunaly System Restore is turned off as I dont use it
plus I get some harddrive space back.

Like I say it's only one key but whenever that key is
read it kills my system
