Registry Problem

Trying to open Registry Editor - Run/"regedit"/OK.

RE flashes onto screen, stays for between 1 to 5 seconds, then disappears!

Any suggestions?

Any suggestions?

Scan for viruses, especially if task manager (ctrl-alt-delete), and
msconfig (start, run, msconfig) show the same behaviour. You may need to
use an online scan, or scan from safe mode, since (if it si a virus) it
has probably nobbled your AV scanner too.
