I accidently changed my registry paths for start up & closing sounds. It was under the HKEY_CURRENT_ path. I tried the (no set value) but that failed. How do I restore my start up and closing sounds using regedit???
Thanks, Tim

Why are you using the registry to change these sounds? It is best not to muck about
the registry, or at least save it before mucking about.
Ask your question here, it is a 2000 newsgroup, but it addresses the registry
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.win2000.registry

You can change your sounds in the control panel, open the Sounds and Audio Devices
folder, Sounds tab...
