Registry Help with KB 834489

want to disable the website spoofing fix. I tried the
work around suggested in KB 834489 however I do not have
the registry entries that are listed:

'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_HTTP_USERNAME_PASSWORD
_DISABLE'

Actually I have hardly anything under the main section

Did you ever use the disabled feature of including user information in
an URL?
I have never used it, so it does not bother me that I don't have the
FeatureControl key.

If you want to disable the new behavior, then have you tried creating
the Registry entries and values?
