Whilst cleaning out Norton AV I noticed this Redemption entry with two keys
inside. What the heck is it? It sounds ominous ...

It's so that when you are done with your PC you can bring it back for a 5
cent return. No, really, it's 10 cents in California... (Sorry it's been a
long night.)

Actually, I did search and I have no idea what it really is but I suspect
that if you give us a bit more information (maybe about where it's actually
sitting in your registry) then someone might know.

I did a search for hijack this + redemption and found some rather
interesting results. You might consider that route.

A good malware scan would be another idea.

Galen - appreciate the response. In the meantime I did some Googling and
found that this entry appears to relate to Outlook.

I keep my machine clean with Adaware+Spybot+Microsoft Antispyware+Sophos AV.

My take on redemption was biblical rather than your financial!
Thanks again
