Red Dead Redemption 2 UK release postponed to Spring 2018

In news that is unlikely to surprise anyone, the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2 has been postponed until Spring 2018. However, by way of apology, Rockstar has released some screenshots - and they are beautiful.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has been delayed. I know, I'm sorry. I'm as upset about it as you are. The news, unfortunately, shouldn't come as a surprise as Rockstar has a habit of delaying it's blockbuster games.

Rockstar cites the fact that Red Dead Redemption 2 is the first Rockstar game built, from the ground up, for current-generation consoles as the reason for its delay. However, it does promise more details around Red Dead Redemption 2 will arrive "this summer", so likely at E3 in June.

Damn. Red Dead Redemption was one of my favourite games, if the second one is anything like the first I'll be snapping it up!

If anyone hasn't played the original, it's worth picking up if you spot it on offer :).
