registry editing help needed

I recently had Panda antivirus installed on my PC but when I removed it it
left a couple of registry entries that I cannot seem to be able to remove. I
have run a few supposed registry cleaning programmes that have found the
values but although they say they have deleted them the next time I restart
the PC the values kick in again and try to run the old programme every 6
seconds, adwatch picks up the entries but cannot delete them, Help me please!

Thanks but that was one of the first things I tried! I have already
uninstalled the programme and carried out a search of my drives for anything
Panda and cannot find anything.
To be honest if it wasn't for Adwatch I wouldn't know it was still there.
I went to the registry editor and found the entry, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
and found the values that adwatch finds;
APVXDWIN and SCANINICIO
I then deleted them from my registry (after making a backup in case I
screwed up)
I then restarted my PC but they are still being found by Adwatch!
What can I do?

Are they back in the Run key after rebooting? If so, for testing
purposes run msconfig and uncheck them if they are present and reboot. If
they return as a second entry that means there is still something installed
that is placing them back. The best suggestion for this situation is to
either track down what re-enables it or re-install/uninstall Panda.

If they are not re-enabled you should be able to get rid of them.

Thanks for the ongoing help Brian.
I still cannot get rid of them!
They are in the registry and the msconfig every time I reboot! I have done a
system search for anything panda and deleted everything it found, I have
searched the registry for anything panda and deleted anything that found, and
still they come back! I found on the web a prog called syssafety which claims
to look after the registry but all this does is scroll frantically down
saying that these two entries are trying to add to the registry. When I allow
they then scroll with a remove command! I am stuck as to how to remove these
bl**dy items, please help.
PS I cannot reinstall and uninstall as I haven't got the prog any more as it
was a hacked prog without the need for a registration code so it was deleted.
