Hello
I am working at a school where we use ris and unattended installation
cd's.
We use both English and Norwegian xp pro.
Locale: Norwegian_Bokmal
LCIDHex: 0414
LCIDDec: 1044
Valid Locale ID:InputLocale combinations: 0414:00000414,0409:00000409
Language Collection: Basic
http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/reference/win2k/setup/lcid.mspx
So, I try to find out where exactly what shall be? When I read the
article below I understand some of the things, like:
InputLocale = 0414:00000414
LanguageGroup=1
Language = 0414
But why does the example in the article use the LCIDDec in these cases:
SystemLocale = 1044
UserLocale = 1044
And the Hex in inputlocale and language? What's the difference? Is
this correct, or is it all the same which of Dec and Hex I use?

And is it all the same if you use 0414 or 00000414?
Example:
InputLocale = 0414:0414
Language = 00000414
Is this all the same?
