I found out how to fix my system32 problem so I'd like to thank the people
who helped with that. I'm having a problem getting into my registry editor,
can someone tell me how to get in that? Also, Im having my norton come up
everytime I log on saying I have a virus and everytime it supposedly repairs
it but I'm still getting the message. Can someone give me some help on what I
should do? Thanks in advance.

I didn't describe the regedit properly. I typed in regedit on the 'run'
prompt and it closed as soon as it opened. I went to the Norton site and
downloaded and tool to help regedit run properly but it still isn't working.

The virus problem still exists. The likely scenario is that
regedit.exe has been replaced by regedit.com, which is bogus.
Re-read the instructions from Norton (or Symantec) on how to
complete the repair at restoring regedit.exe.

Create a new folder on C: Download AVG and Avast anti-virus. Turn off
system restore. Boot to safe mode. Install each one at a time and run
them one at a time. Boot normally. Run each again, first getting the
updated .defs. Then full scan again. "should work"
