Hello,

I want to compare copy cost for the HP LaserJet 2300 & 1300.

For the 2300 model compatible cartridge is q2610A & its capacity is 6000 page.
For the 1300 model compatible cartridge is q2613A & its capacity is 2500 page.

I want to know that minimum that how many times I am able to refill any toner?
HP toner comes with Drum inside. So is there any Drum capacity for both the toner?

You can divide the quoted price by the quoted page capacity to obtain
cost per page.


Your evident perception of pouring toner into empty cartridges isn't
what really happens when a cartridge is recycled.

You can search for recycling kits for your laserjet toners, and you may
get some informative hits on what recycling of these components means.

In general, without replacing some internal components, the number of
good refills available could well be almost zero.

If you buy a recycled toner cartridge and it fails real soon after
installation, it was probably just a "refill" with no replacement of
parts that wear out.

All toner cartridges have parts that wear out much sooner that the
optical durm. In the older laser printer these parts were over
engineered, and lasted for many refills. But the new parts are made
to ware out just as after the page count goes over the published life
of the toner cartridges. They have been cutting the quality of these
parts until the the failure rate gets close to the published life of
the cartridge.
