? regarding device manager-----xp drivers for motherboard

I have a motherboard (ASUS IPIBL-LA) on an HP computer (M9040N) that was
intended for vista. I don't like
vista so I wiped it clean and installed xp home. With the help of forums I
found drivers for everything so my device manager is clean. My original
intent for this
computer was something fast for HD video editing. Is my system going to
function at 100% or could it be compromised not using the intended OS. If
the device
manager shows no problems then can I assume everything is OK?

Usually yes, you may have invalidated your warrant / tech support however
since HP only seems to support Vista on this PC

Missing Link

Because the board is from a third party manufacturer who do themselves fully
support XP on the platform then you should be OK. The BOIS may be slightly
non-standard as far as ASUS is concerned but this is normally limited to
branding and should not affect the functionality of the board or its driver
requirements.

I had a similar issue with an HP laptop but they had modified the onboard
graphics processor in some way and I could not find one that would work in XP.
