Regading Plug and Play Mouse and keyboard

Hello All,
I am using XP Embedded SP2 Tool. And i want the plug and play function for
the mouse and keyboard. I mean if i plugged a mouse or keyboard on a XP
Embedded OS. The device should work properly.
Right now i had created a image but in case i do a plug or play with mouse
or keyboard, these devices hangs.
Please tell me which component i should add to get this facility work.

Which sort of mouse/keyboard are you using? PS/2 keyboards and mice
cannot, as far as I'm aware, be connected to any PC and work after it
has booted. I could be wrong, but I've never seen one on which it worked.

I think i had asked a bit in a wrong way.
I just gone through the process. I booted my XP Embedded OS with ps2 mouse
and keyboard, and then plugged it off and again connected and it worked
properly.
Noew the 2nd time i booted my iname without mouse and keyboard and after
booting up i connected the mouse and keyboard but it dint worked.

I just want to know the that the 2nd way can work or not. if yes then which
with which type of keyboard and mouse it can work ?

It'll work with USB keyboard and mouse, you can plug those in at any
time and this is what we do here, but PS/2 keyboard and mouse will only
work if they are connected at boot.
