Refreshing the desktop

When I have all windows minimized in my laptop, if I right-click on my
desktop wallpaper and click "Refresh" all my icons are moved to the left of
the screen. It also happens when I reboot or startup the laptop. My other
computers don't do that, and it's driving me bonkers! Any idea how I can stop
the icons from moving? Thanks!

Right click a blank spot on the desktop, put the cursor over "Arrange Icons
By" and uncheck "Auto Arrange".

Right click on the desktop and then left click on Arrange
Items By. Make sure that only Align to Grid is checked. If
auto arrange is checked this will cause the problem. Let us
know if it fixes your problem.
