Refreshing System Tray after Explorer Crash

J

Jeff

Is there a way to refresh the System Tray after a Windows Explorer crash?
(This is for Win XP Pro.) I have programs that are still running, and are
only accessible through system tray icons. But the icons aren't there
anymore, even though the programs are running (and so cannot be relaunched).
I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL and terminate the programs in question so I can
relaunch them if I want to be able to use them - they are only accessible
through their systray icons. I tried checking the Microsoft Knowledge base
and didn't fiind an answer.

Hi,

Generally no, you need to logoff and back on to refresh the tray.
