refresh - prompts for password

I have a site that has a few pages. When I try to refresh the page it asks
for a password. that page does contain a link to a passworded pdf file.
Why does it ask for the password when it's just the html page that I'm
trying to refresh? Is there a reason for the behaviour. (the site has
frames, if that helps).

could be a permissions issue on the server.

Ok ... here you go. http://members.shaw.ca/cchoir
go to either "choir" or "technical" using my home-brewed nav bar across the
top ... these pages contain the password-protected pdf files in them, so
you won't be able to get into the file, but you should get the prompt if you
try to refresh the page. I'm new to web design, so it's entirely possible
that it's something I've done.

Meanwhile, I've gotta fly ... got to get to choir ... will be late. Thanks.
