So, I tried to fix and reformat my computer. In doing this i got to the part
where it asked for my administation password. I got told to hit enter and it
will continue because there should not be one on there. It did not let me do
that. So, I just reinstaled Win XP and now when I start my computer I have
two different XP programs on my computer. How do I get rid of them both and
start all over. I have been working on this all day and can not figure it
out. Please someone help me.

If you want to delete your Windows (both) and do a new install of one, do this (you will lose ALL your data): boot with XP CD, and delete the partition(s) on which XP is installed. Then create a new one and install there XP. Is this what you want to do?

Yes, I do not know how to delete the partitions though, I thought that i did
that to begin with

If you start with the CD, choose the option "Install a new copy of XP" (or similar) and the you will see the partitions. Then choose one of them and delete.

Aquire a copy of Partition Magic. This allows you to format all
partitions on you pc, then do a clean install of Windows XP. this is by
far the best way to solve you problem. RD
