I am thinking that I either need to to repair or reformat XP. I think I've accidently deleted some windows files in trying to uninstall McAfee completely and install Norton instead. Can you help?
If you think you may have deleted some system files type the following from
Start>Run and have your XP CD to hand:
sfc /scannow
