reformatting win xp pro

When you reformat, do you just reinstalll over the
present format, or do you have to uninstall and reinstall?

Robert the drive is first formatted and then xp is installed. When a drive
is formatted *all* data is destroyed. For more information on reformatting

Click the Win XP faq button and the look down the menu for 'How do I
reformat my hard drive with XP'
