Reformatted computer subfolders are not showing in Outlook

I had to reformat my computer so when I downloaded my pst file into Outlook I
can only see the Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Junk and Deleted folders.

None of my crucial subfolders are exposed. What do I need to do different to
get to see/expand these subfolders?

Depends what you mean by "I downloaded my pst file into Outlook" and whether
you used the correct data data file in the first place

I have a backup file from an external drive and I also saved a copy to a CD.
I checked the file to see if I could open it with Outlook before I
reformatted my computer. I am working in Outlook 2007.

I tried both files and when I import into Outlook I don't get the subfolders.

Well you would'nt be able to import from the cd location
What size are these two files (backup & Cd files)?

Locate the files in your Documents folder
Within Outlook, File>Open>Data File....browse to this location & open the
data File
In outlook folder tree view examine the new set of Personal folders

I had downloaded as suggested but don't see the subfolders. I am not sure how
to get to "tree view".

I figured it out! I was opening the wrong file! Duh! I now have all of the
subfolders. Thanks for your help!
