If you reinstalled xp,youre former software on the other hds will do you
no good at this point.New xp install means new software installation. As far
as "backup" goes, cant help you there,i never use it,try saving youre user
data
to the FTW in xp,then if hd,or hardware/software fails,a new xp install is
preffered, then run the FTW with youre old data from a cd or other hd.

Hi! not sure what FTW means, but regardless like i said i have a 117gig my
backup on my c:\ and i have tried numerous ways to delete that folder but i
cant no matter what and ive searched the net for ways to do it but most of
the stuff i can find only pertains to vista, so i guess my real question is
how do i delete/remove/bin that folder that is consuming all my space, cuz
like you said its of no use. i got transfered files to another pc but tried
the backup just for giggles i guess. do you know how to remove that folder,
ive looked for ways through administration but no luck! thanx for your
response
