A few questions about refilling HP ink cartridge #14
- there is a date printed on the cartridge - is it expiration date, if
not then where is it?
- is it true that the HP printer will refuse to use expired cartridge
even it has been refilled?

While there are some HP cartridges with an expiry the date on the #14
cartridge is only to do with warranty. The problem you have come up against
is the serial no on each cartridge which the printer recognises, if it's the
one thats just been taken out then the printer will let you know and refues
to use it. The printer can only remember two serial numbers for each
cartridge, what you have to do is cod it into thinking that your cartridge
is new by installing two other used cartridges one after the other and go
through the cycle of installing it, then haveing had two different serial
numbers stored in memory, the printer will accept your refilled on.
