Refill ink for HP #45 and #78 cartridges: reality check.

A long time ago, people seemed quite happy with the Canadian
firm, Atlantic Inkjet, as an ink source. I tried them not long
ago, and my experience was a disaster. The ink was not compatible
with my cartridges; I had to throw out the cartridges themselves.
Even the needles in the Atlantic kit were too long, long enough
to damage the print heads when their instructions were followed

.. Previously, I had good results with an InkTec refill kit, so
I'm certain that my refilling technique is OK. And (horror of
horrors) I've even been OK with one of those "one size fits all"
ink kits. InkTec is a Korean company. I found their kit to be
excellent, the instructions good, and my results, as good as I
could want..

Can anyone recommend a good, affordable source, for a company who
sellls either their own brand of ink, re-bottled ink from
excellent manufacturers, or an outfit that sells InkTec ink? I'd
prefer that this company not be affiliated with EasyGroup.

I print color, but I do not require perfect photo-quality results.

Note that Atlantic Inkjet is now just one of 24 ink sites owned
by EasyGroup in California, and I want to try a company that
indeed does business under their own name and is smaller.

Thanks.

Hi Richard,

Nice to read from you again on this NG
.. I've used bulk ink for at least 6 years from inksupply.com to refill
various Epson cartridges.
Below is their page for HP ink and cartridges.
http://www.inksupply.com/select_printer.cfm?prt_mfg=HP

Their prices may not be the cheapest but I believe they maintain decent
quality, are responsive to questions and are quite reliable.
