Referencing a control in a subform

I created 2 forms and placed 1 inside the other. I am trying to refrence
only one value form the inserted form to the main form. I have tried every
combination but keep getting #Name? or #Error messages. The drop down
function works well since both properties are set as Data Sheet. I want to
place the value as a description to a Part # next to that part # in the main
Form. I don't want to have to click on the "+" to show the value of the
description field. Want the field to show up next to the Part #. Any
assistance would be appreciaed. Thanks
