References to footnotes and page numbers are being displayed as follows
within the print layout preview:

Footnotes - {NOTEREF...}

Page numbers - Page {PAGE} of {NUMPAGES}

Any idea how to view the footnote and page numbers again?
 
Press Alt+F9 to toggle from field codes (what you're seeing) to field
results.
