REF Field

When I use the REF Field to reference a bookmark, it creates a space after
the referenced phrase. This is okay in most instances, except when that
reference comes at the end of a sentance and is followed by punctuation.

it looks like this: The Project Manager is {REF Project_Manager}.

but then the final version looks like this: The Project Manager is John
Smith .

and I want it to look like this: The Project Manager is John Smith.

I hadn't noticed this in the REF field, but the EQ field is notorious for
inserting an extra space unless you remove the trailing space from the field
code. In this case, though, I would make sure that the bookmarked text
doesn't include the space.

Thank you Suzanne. There was not a space in the bookmark, but I was able to
delete the trailing space from the field code. I had tried that before, but
with the backspace button and not the delete button. Silly me. Thank you
again!

I don't know why Backspace wouldn't work just as well as Delete in this
case, but I'm glad you got it sorted.
