How do I delete addresses I no longer need or use? These
appear in a list of frequently used websites

Right click on IE on your desktop > select "properties" > on the General Tab,
click "clear history" in the "History" Pane, this will clear your Browser's "cache"
of typed and entered URL's - web addresses that have been run over time.
You may set the History to a fewer number of days so that *less* are retained.
