Reducing the size of Windows Media Audio Files?

Guest

I ripped music from CDs with Windows Media Player and imported the files into
Frontpage 2002, then added them as background music to my webpages.

The problem is that the files are very large and they take a long time to
download, even on my high-speed cable modem. On dial-up, people will be off
the site before the background music downloads.

How can I either reduce the size of the files, or speed up the download time?

You can search the web for MPG compression software
- But if you ripped it from any commercial CD you are in violation of the artists copyright and shouldn't put it on your site
