Hi!

My clients use outlook 2002 & exchange 5.5. Is there an easy way for the
users to redirect their mail to a common mailbox before they leave for
holiday (script, reg-file or something like that)?

Well, there's "alternate delivery" in Exchange Administrator, which will
send a copy of all inbound mail to another mailbox, but you'd need to turn
that on & off for them. Or you could use Outlook rules, but they'd need to
leave Outlook open the whole time they were away.

My suggestion - why not just have them share their inbox/other folders with
another user?

I usually use the out of office agent for this (where you can add rules).
The ideal solution would be to send a bat-file that enables the agent and
adds the rule. And perhaps another file that resets the agent :).

Because 1) I want to make it as easy as possible for the users and 2) some
users doesn't care about their mailbox enough to share it with another user
(sad but true).
