Open the table in design view and select the field in question. On the
field property sheet in the bottom pane of the design window, you'll see the
Indexed property, which has three possible values: "No", "Yes(No
Duplicates)" and "Yes (Duplicates OK)". Change it to "Yes (Duplicates OK)".

HOWEVER, if this field is your table's primary key, you cannot set it to
allow duplicates. In that case, you must create another field -- or choose
an existing one, if there is one that is suitable --to serve as the table's
primary key, make that field the primary key instead, and then change the
Indexed property of the original field.
