G'day
I am designing a table, that lists the Cost Centres and I wish the make
the Cost Centre Number the Primary Key. The Cost Centres contain both
Numbers and Char ie A74. When I try to do this I get the following
message "The changes you requested to the table were not successfult
because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key or
relationship. Change the data in the field(s) that contain duplicate
data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate
entries and try again".
Is the message appearing because I have the Data Type "Text"?
Regards
