Red X placeholder - Images do not diplay

I found the fix for this several months ago and fixed the
problem but I downloaded some updates from the microsoft
windows update section and I have encountered the RED X
problem once again. I was going through my fixes file but
I apparently misplaced the fix that worked. It was a
simple fix - I believe I just had to enter two executable
files and the problem was solved. Does anybody have the
proper fix for the RED X problem in ie6. I've changed the
view options but that's only a temporary fix. Please help.
