red x on print preview

Otherwise use the Print Preview's Zoom Out toolbar button to ensure
your Red-X is not a problem with resizing.

Thank you Robert. It seems the first option worked. If you have the time
could you explain why this is the case. What does setting it to Work
Offline do?

Provided everything on the page is cached working offline takes any
network timing and quirks of protocol out of the equation.
