Red X on network drives

C

Chuck Sivley

For some reason our windows 2000 workstations get a red x
on our mapped drives (like it has lost the connection).
If I double click on an x'd drive the x dissapears. Is
this a time-out because of inactivity? What can I do to
prevent this?

Yes, it is exactly a timeout due to inactivity. If the network connection
still works, you need do nothing.
