Red disappeared from selection of colors in Fonts on Menu bar

I opened up one Excel spreadsheet and did not have any bright colors
available to me in Fonts or fills (I was wanting RED). I opened up another
spread sheet and had red available there. What happened? Where did it go in
this spreadsheet and how can I get it back?

Hi,

Sounds like you are using 2007. The color palette is controlled by the
workbook Theme. Choose Page Layout, Themes to change a theme.

However, you can still reach all the colors by choose More Colors from the
Fonts color drop down.

If you are using 2003 - it suggests that the color palette in your workbook
has been customized. In 2003 the color palette belongs to the workbook, not
Excel. You change it by choosing Tools, Options, Color...
