Repair/Replace the Recycle Bin

http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts/recycbin-2.reg

This is a REG file. Save the file to your hard disk and double-click
it. Answer yes to the import prompt. Right-click on the Desktop and
select Refresh. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by right-clicking
the file and selecting Edit.

Many Thanks Iceman! I applied the reg file but had to reboot the PC for it
to take affect.
Is This File Basically Remove And Then Reinstate The Recycling Bin As I Am
Intertested? And What Could Have Caused This To Happen In The First Place?

Glad to hear it worked for you. I think this file basically reinstalls the
Recycle Bin on your system.

The Recycle Bin can become corrupt for a number of reasons: it gets too
full, the INFO2 file is damaged, spyware (always a suspect), even damaged
system files.

Have a look at this page:
"Recycle Bin overview"

Hi Iceman me again. This problem is still annoying me. I have just
reinstalled a fresh copy of Windows Pro and the same problem has happened. I
have tried that reg file again but with no success this time.
Any other suggestions?
