After cleaning out my XP SP2 recycle folder I have just noticed during a
search that I have hundreds of files in four folders. These folders start:

C:\recycler\s-1-5-21-141 ...................................-500

etc

whats going on here?

Normal. A recycler folder for each user. If you delete a file from your
protected user folder, it will go into the folder with your user's SID.
Users that do not have permission to view your documents cannot gain access
to them via the Recycle Bin.

Suggestion: Open the recycle bin to pick through the contents instead of
using the Recycler folder method.
