Recycle bin

When I delete something it goes to the Recycle bin as it should. However,
when I turn off the computer and restart it, all items have disapeared from
the recycle bin. I've cheched all the common settings. What is the problem?

When deleted files are not showing up in the Recycle Bin

at times the folder can also be missing under C:\Recycle
Bin, if this is the case go to: Start/Run/CMD and type
in: rd /s /q c:\recycled [reboot]. And/or run this
