Look at your Recycle Bin settings.
Right click Recycle Bin | Properties | Global tab |
Uncheck: Do not move files to the Recycle Bin |
Check: Display delete confirmation dialog
Click Apply | Click OK
Do not move files to the Recycle Bin
[[Specifies whether the items you delete are immediately removed from
your
hard disk or the items you delete are moved to the Recycle Bin. Items
moved
to the Recycle Bin are not removed from your hard disk until you empty
the
Recycle Bin. ]]
Display delete confirmation dialog
[[Specifies whether a confirmation message is displayed when you delete
files to prevent you from deleting files in error. If the Do not move
files
to the Recycle Bin check box is selected, you cannot change this
setting. ]]
Also, if you use Shift + Delete the deleted item(s) bypass the Recycle
Bin.

When I delete something it bypasses the recycle bin and I lose it
forever. Why does it not go to recycle bin?
I have this problem too, but when i right click an error shows up and
says - the properties for this are unavailable? any other solutions?
