recycle bin

OK, I'm stupid!! I did something, I think, that affected
the recycle bin. It shows as full But there r no items in
it? The amount of memory is sufficient. How could I
have screwed this up. Now I'm afraid to dump it. HELP

Rightclick the RecycleBin icon, click Emty the RB, close

it now open it again. It should NOT read as full.
