Recycle Bin Trouble

i need help on how to repair my recycle bin.. everytime i
delete soemthing it syas it deletes the files but the
recycle bin still shows full.. nothing is in there.. i
HAD noton systemworks 2003 installed by i uninstalled it
but still the problem persists. Andy andvise or methods
to follow?

Go to MVP Kellys website and look on Line 64, right column, for Replace/Repair the Recycle Bin in XP. Click the link, download the file to the Desktop and double click to install the fix.

It may just be that silly nortons icon showing.

With the bin shut, delete some small unwanted file (if necessary make a
small one) by highlighting and hitting the delete key. Then r-click on
the Bin icon - do *not* open it - and take 'Empty Recycle Bin
