You just create a new text document and then delete it. It doesn't
always work but sometimes it does and it's a pretty easy thing to try.
You can right click an empty area on your desktop then click on "New" to
create the Text Document. Then just send it on its merry way to the
Recycle Bin.
If that doesn't do anything then you can try deleting the recycler
folder(s), Windows will recreate it when you reboot. From a command
prompt issue the following command:
rd /s /q c:\recycler
Remember that if you have more than one drive you will have to issue the
command for each drive, changing the c: with the appropriate drive letter.
