recycle bin glitch

evertime i delete files, my recycle bin icon on desktop
shows that it has items in it. but when i open it there is
nothing in there. therefore i cant restore anything from
it.

I do not have the setting in the properties dia. box
checked to bypass recycle bin. Has done this since day
one outa box.

Hi Blair
Right click Desktop and choose Properties.
Select the Desktop tab and click the Customize Desktop button.
Click the Restore Default button. Click OK then Apply then OK.
That should do it.
