Recycle Bin empties by itself!

Hello; I'm new to WIN XP-Home, and my Recycle Bin is emptying every
shut-down. I want the contents to stay there until I am ready to empty Bin
myself, as in WIN 98. I've searched all over, but cannot find the setting to
change Recycle Bin. Please advise and thanks.

You probably have a 3rd party ustility that empties the Recycle Bin, like
DiskCleaner, for example.

Or you may have Do not move files to the Recycle Bin selected in the Recycle
Bin Properties.

Right click Recycle Bin | Properties | Global tab |
UNCheck: Do not move files to the Recycle Bin if it is checked

Do not move files to the Recycle Bin
[[Specifies whether the items you delete are immediately removed from your
hard disk or the items you delete are moved to the Recycle Bin. Items moved
to the Recycle Bin are not removed from your hard disk until you empty the
Recycle Bin. ]]

That's it!! Problem solved!!! There's a "Recycle Bin" box in CC Cleaner,
and I unchecked it, and no more problem.
I hope they're paying you enough.............
