recycle bin doesnt show files to b deleted

when files are put in recycle bin they dont show.i know they are there cause
when i go to delete them,it asks if i want to delete them.running xp pro.can
anyone help me??thanks.

hi,

what are the properties of your recycle bin (right mouse click on the
recycle bin)?
Are you deleting the files immediatly?
Is the space enough? Or are the files bigger than the space of the recyle bin?
Or are you deleting files in the network and not on the local drives? Then
the files will not appear in the local recycle bin...
