Recurring yet irregular appointments

How can I easily enter recurring but irregular appointments, such as Little
League games? These appointments have varying locations, opponents, dates,
and times. It's painstaking - and invites error- to enter them individually.

The vast majority of my appointments are of this type, so I'd love to find a
few tips.

By the way, once I've made all my entries, I do export them & share with
others who are in the same predicament.

I can see that this topic has been addressed, so I'll modify my question -
the strategy I would like to use is this:
a. enter a few games
b. export those entries to Excel where I can enter the remaining games quite
easily
c. import the results back into Outlook.

I can't seem to get the appointments to import back into Outlook. Any
suggestions?
 
Are you creating fields other than the ones that exist in the export? If
yes, Outlook does not import custom fields. What error message(s) are you
getting?

Not creating any new fields - just using the ones that are created by the
Export process. After I try to import this file with the newly added dates,
I don't get any error messages. But nothing happens - no appointments are
added to Outlook.

I am currently trying to find the outlook.hol file to edit that as suggested
at the slipstick link - will let you know how it works!

I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that though I've read this whole page I
can't quite see how I can make use of any of these ideas. Sorry!
 
The solution was to read through "import troubleshooting" in Help & recall
the need to name the range of data. Ta-da! Entering recurring yet irregular
appointments can be done quickly & easily in Excel & then imported to Outlook.
